With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merridy Evelyn Newman (Enfield, Nova Scotia), born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 24, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Frederick Morton. She is survived by: her parent Blanche Morton (Kelly); her daughters, Marilynn Seaman and Heather Seaman (Darrell Spencer); her grandson Shawn Seaman (Jara); her great grandchildren, Rowan and Ione; and her nephew Fred Morton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
