He is survived by: his sons, Orrin of Halifax and Alexander of Halifax; his grandchildren, Carol Anne Young and Henry Gordon Young of North Sydney; his former wife Sarah Archibald; his brother David; his nieces, Robin MacLean, Lee MacLean, Alix MacLean, Ottawa, Kerry MacLean and Jill Young; and his nephew Jonathan Young.
