He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irvine "Tiger" and Elsie MacKie (Lund); his sisters, Fay MacKie, Fredericton and Linda Little (Port Hawkesbury); his daughters, Leslie (John MacDonell), Sandy (Rosie Porter) and Kelly (Kevin Boudreau); his grandchildren, Edward (Ashley), Lydia, Hillary, Kelton, Mackie (Jesse) and Denver; and his wife Shirley.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no public service.
