He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Bernard and Edna Bernard; and his brother Howard Bernard. He is survived by: his former wife Patty Arseneau (Joe); his children, Meaghan Patterson (Mark) and Ashley Bernard (Robert); his grandchildren, Victoria, Catherine, Lauryn and Miles; and his siblings, Wayne, Sue Ann and Floyd.
