She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartford MacDonnell and Mary MacDonnell; her husband Jim; and her siblings, Raymond, Bertie, Bobby, Jimmie, Louie, Jean, Ronnie and Lornie.
She is survived by: her children, Carlleen Cole (Derek) and Douglas (Jennie); her grandchildren, Jaedon, Linden, Anderson, Greyson and Layton; and her siblings, Eva Probert (Mike), Mikie MacDonnell, Rita Buchanan (Eddie), Hardy and Kenny MacDonnell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the orphanage Ellen and Jim have been supporting for many years.
