Cavell Robina Burke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cavell Robina Burke (Elmsdale, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Robert; her parents, Robert Parsons and Maude Parsons; her siblings, Elva, Wayne and Terrance; her husband Edward Burke; her daughter Rev. Kym Burke; her grandchildren, Robert Burke (Stephanie Harasymiw Burke), Rebekah Cole (Braydon Casey) and Sheamus John Burke; and her sister Judy Smith (Tolson Smith).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverview United Church (760 Hwy 2, Elmsdale, NS B2S1G3).
In lieu of flowers, the Burke family requests that donations can be made in Cavell's memory to local food banks, shelters; Riverview United Church, Stairs Memorial United Church or a DEI (Diverse Equity Inclusion) non-profit organization of their choice.
