Rodney Edward Burns Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Edward Burns of Ellershouse, Nova Scotia, born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Edith Burns (Collings). He is survived by: his father Lewis "Ted" Burns; his wife Celia (Yorke); his children, Deidre (Kriss Hiltz), Neil, Nelson (Gina Macumber) and Melvin; his grandchildren, Megan Rogers, Brianna Hiltz, Bethany Burns and Riley Hiltz; his stepgrandchildren, Amber, Ashley and Ian Swinamer; his great grandchildren, Elaina Goucher and Wyatt Rogers; and his sisters, Christine (Don Barkhouse) and Bonnie (Peter Cameron). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Regrettably, given current COVID-19 restrictions, in person attendance will be by invitation only and masks must be worn.
