He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Haines and Bertha Haines (Whitehead); his son Milton; and his siblings, Reid, John, Raymond, Calvin, Garnet, Ira, Gloria, Blanche, Jennifer, Linden Phelan and Marion Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Albert (Teresa) and Eric (Jennifer Eldridge); his grandchildren, Emma and Sydney; and his sister Ruby Woods. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
