It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Ruth McManus of Ellershouse, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Sweet and Maud Sweet (MacLean); her siblings, Serena Wedlock, Jane Palmer, Anne Bowers, Nellie Parker and John William Sweet; and her son-in-law John Edward Bennet.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle; her children, Wendy McLean (Peter), Brenda Bennet, Alberta and Larry McManus (Heather Hawley); her grandchildren, Sandi (Brett), Tanya (Fiore), Jennifer (Mark), Jason, Corey (Stephanie) and Cameron (Sara); and her great grandchildren, Larissa, Michael, Mystyn, Ayanna, Calysta, Alexander, Romeo, Brooke, Autumn, Emmet and William. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
