He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jeffers and Josephine Jeffers (Goodwin). He is survived by: his wife Bertha (Mitchell); his children, Sheila (Joe Fisher), Ray (Daniela Savelkoul), Cheryl (Lee Johnson) and Carolyn (Stephen Fudge); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Fisher (Jennifer), Emily (Will Jackson), Jessica, Kathleen, Craig Johnson and Ruby Fudge; his great grandchildren, Elaina, Elizabeth and Landen Fisher; and his siblings, Alberta Woodworth and Ronnie Cleveland (Janice).

“I am so sad to hear of Ivan’s passing. I remember well how he welcomed me into his home during my first visit to Nova Scotia many years ago. He made sure I.met all of the family as well as the horses, cows, dog and those crazy colourful roosters he loved. So many great memories...he was one of a kind.
