He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phillips and Dorothy Phillips (Faithful); his significant other Bernice "Bunny" (Godley); his brother George Phillips; and his brothers-in-law, William Godley and Malcolm MacDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Dorothy, John Dartmouth (Jan), Gary Cow Bay (Therese) and Sharon St (Joe McDonald); his grandchildren, Scott (Amy), Connor, Amber, Chad (Jennifer), Tegan, Victoria, Andrew and Matthew; his great grandchild Rose; his stepgreat-granddaughter Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy MacDonald and Sharon Godley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
