He is survived by: his children, David Doucette (Michelle) and Amanda MacIntyre (Paul); his stepchildren, Josh Michaud (Sarah) and Jenna Michaud; his siblings, Wallace Doucette (Marlaine), Rick Doucette, Linda DeWolfe, Madeline and Bernice; his sisters-in-law, Barb Doucette and Gail DeWolfe; his grandchildren, Breanna Doucette, Zachary Doucette, Evan Gray, Emily Michaud and Jacob Michaud; and his former wife Janice Hemeon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion in Eastern Passage.
