With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Roy Reid of Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, born in Hamilton, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Barbara; his parents, John "Jack" Reid and Eileen Reid (Goodale); and his brothers, Ronald "Ronnie", Roger "Butch" and Jack.
He is survived by: his children, Eileen, Evelyn, Robert and Erin; his grandchildren, Jonathon, Julia (Mitchell), Mitchell (Paige), Andrew (Plair), Sydney (Matthew) and Parker (Mavis); and his siblings, Arlene Anderson (Ross) and Philip (Ayne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and 2 great-grandchildren.
