She was predeceased by: her parents, William Johnston and Margaret Johnston; her husband Evan Earl Darroch; her granddaughter Melody Darroch; and her siblings, John (Jackie), William (Bill) and Edith Avery (Harvey).
She is survived by: her sisters, Isabelle Higgins of Dartmouth, Doreen Johnstone of Dartmouth and Patricia Dee (Patsy) of Greenwood. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
