He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Caie and Winnifred Caie; his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Kristine (Steve), Karen (Dave), Saskatoon, Doug Jr. (Sherry), Placentia and Nfld; his grandchild Kyle of Halifax; his siblings, Jack, Fort Erie, Don, Simcoe and Barbara; his brothers-in-law, Michael Bourne (Pat) and Burlington; and also Doug. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no public funeral service or celebration of life.
