He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Reid and Anastasia Reid (Bolger); and his siblings, Nora, John, Alban, Maurice and Austin.
He is survived by: his close friend Judith Sarson; his sister Catherine Currie (Kay); his daughter Christine; and also, Linda, Thomas, Catherine and Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
