He was predeceased by: his father Deacon; his wife Leona Slawter (Simmonds); and his sisters, Marguerite Thomas-Parent and Stella Bailey. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Green of Atlanta Georgia, Marlene Slawter, Ada Armstrong (Everald), Coreen Glasgow, Colleen Haughton (Junior) of East Preston, Joseph Slawter, Jerry Slawter (Patsy) of Toronto, John Slawter of Spryfield, Marlow Slawter and Radford Slawter of East Preston; his nephew Leonard Cross; his children-in-law, Stanley Green, Thomas Johnson, Janice Mercer and Pam Barnes-Slawter; his grandson Charles; and his great grandchildren, Leona, Keezondre, Austin and Kyrell. He is also survived by 23 Grand children 37 great grand children & 19 great great grand children.
