It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Alexander Slawter of East Preston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Slawter and Alfreda Slawter; his siblings, Lorne, Allen, Leslie, Hubert, Vyona and Dallas; and his significant other Melvina Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Ronda (Brian Cook), Robert Jr. and Jerry Smith; his siblings, Donelida Slawter, Lorene Riley (Marvin) and Wayne Slawter (Samantha); his grandchildren, Savanna Paris, Brinley, Alex Smith, Ayden and Aliyah Anderson; and his great grandchild Kaejah Paris. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
