It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Priscilla June Provo of East Preston, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brooks and Clara Brooks; her husband Frederick Provo; her siblings, Tony, Gerald, Allen, Johnny, George, Cecil, Hannah, Blanche, Rita, Elsie, Florence, Clara and Evelene; her daughter Delilah Provo; her grandchildren, Joey, Martaze, Jaleka and Terry; and her sons-in-law, Ivan Miller and Stan Slawter.
She is survived by: her children, Kim, Sally (Marshall), Roxanne, Margaret, Amanda, James (Tara), George, Marcel, Quinton (Tina), Elaine, Tara, Laurie and Freddy (Elizabeth); her siblings, Eliza Brooks, Mary Hellesoe, Clyde (Mayola) and Earl (Mary); her siblings-in-law, Rose Brooks, Lorraine Provo, Paula Provo, Patsy Bottomley and Terry Beals; her godchildren, Rev Linda Smith (Terry), Ronalda Provo (David), Martina Beals (Darnell), Maletia Skeard (Devin), Martina Brooks, Joy Brooks, Erica Brooks and Simone Armstrong; her close friends, Lorena Simmons, Iva Frizzell, Jeanette Collins, Jeanette Brooks and Evangeline Thompson; her sisters, Doris Brooks, Margaret Butt, Alberta Glasgow, Colleen Slawter and Carolanne Slawter; and her nieces, Anna Brooks, Winnifred Laffrenier, Wendy Slawter, Theresa Smith, Mona Brooks, Charmaine Thompson, Linda McRae, Cassie Thompson, Katherine Brooks, Marla Brooks, Cynthia Hellesoe and Eleanor Brooks. She is also survived by 56 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren.
