She was predeceased by: her parents, Cora Crawley and Lawrence Saunders; her husband Bernard; her granddaughter Jenene; and her siblings, Geraldine, Shirley, Maxine, Nora, George, Leonard, Bernard, Levy, Charles Sr., Henry and John Edward.

She is survived by: her children, George Collings and Faye Collings of Dartmouth; her siblings, Joseph Slawter (Margaret), Laurina Simmons (Ronald) and Iva Frizzell (Frank); and her caregivers, Loretta Riley, Darlene Howe, Melda Riley and Shiloh Church. She is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian cancer Society.
