We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Effie Viola Johnston (East Preston, Nova Scotia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Glasgow and Hilda Glasgow (Taylor); her former husbands, George Brooks Jr. and Donald Johnston; and her siblings, Ruby, Julia, Marjorie, Frances, Lavinia and Aubrey Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Kevin, Anna, Foster, Derrick (Sharon), Eleanor, Alonzo and Tony; her siblings, Audrey Colley, Freda Williams, Rose Colley (Spencer), Dolly Williams, Connie White (Louis), Melvin of East Preston and Rodney of East Preston; and her godson Glen Thomas. She is also survived by nineteen Grandchildren, and thirteen great grand children.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or the East Preston United Baptist Church.
