He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ashley and Viola Ashley (Isenor); and his siblings, Warren, Reg, Don, Lenna and Pansy.
He is survived by: his sisters, Earlene and Sandra (Ira); and his great-nieces, Ashley (Kenny) and Erin (Johnson). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
