He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian MacKinnon and Kenneth MacKinnon; and his siblings, Mary Ann MacNeil (Leo), Effie MacKinnon and Kenneth MacKinnon (Doreen).
He is survived by: his close friends, Margaret Courtney and Evelyn Dixon; his brother Elmourne MacKinnon (Shelly); his children, Mary Lynn MacKinnon (Maynard), Kinnon MacKinnon (Tracy), Jamie Dixon (Cheryl) and Mark Earle (Lisa); his grandchildren, Eric (Jessica), Brandon (Makayla) and Autumn (Luke); his children, Jenacy, Lily and Sean; and his great grandchildren, Loch, Poppy and Larkyn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (1 Church St., Dingwall, NS B1V2K5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
