He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ann Schrank and Charles Schrank; his wife Bernice; his children, Sarah, Joe and Rachel; his siblings-in-law, Gus, Amaya and Andrew; his grandchildren, Bibi and Kate; his sister Margaret; his niece Victoria; and his great-nephew Roman.

He had succumbed to the complications of late-stage Parkinson's. Bill was born in Brooklyn, New York to Ann and Charles Schrank.
