He was predeceased by: his siblings, Howard Abbott of Murray Abbott, Marjorie Ring (Abbott), Harriet Comeau, Daphne Titus and Joan Cyr; and his nephews, Frank Abbott and Darren Ring.

He is survived by: his sisters, Marlene Wood and Kathy Davis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
