With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Nesbitt of Digby, Nova Scotia, born in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 8, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nesbitt and Flossie Nesbitt (Brown); and his siblings, Jack, Victor, Kenneth, Charlie, Theadore, Kathleen Mullen, Ernistine Cosman, Violet, Patsy Pyne and Dorothy Brehaut.
He is survived by: his wife Lois (Haight); his children, Stephen (Lynn), Taryn Melanson (Ricky), Darlene Hersey and Sherry Lohnes (Scot); his grandchildren, Cory Hersey, Mitchell Nesbitt (Erica), Beck Nesbitt, Coutney Lohnes, Alisha Brydon (Toby) and Brandon Melanson; his great grandchildren, Brook, Claire, Skylah Nesbitt, Raven and Daxton Surette; and his sister Nellie Theriault.
We, the family, would like to thank staff, nurses and doctors at Mountain Lee Lodge for taking such great care of Stanley, especially during the difficult time of COVID-19.
