Richard Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Thomas (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Thomas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thomas and Ann Thomas; his son Richard 'Ricky' Thomas; and his siblings, Arthur, Roy, Archie, Mildred, Helen, Alice, Elizabeth and Pearl.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Mae Thomas (Dennison); his children, Deborah Ann Vantassel (Davey) of Gulliver's Cove, NS, Darlene Grace Thomas (Scott) of Digby, NS and Gregory Lance Thomas (Joanne) of Digby, NS.; and his siblings, George 'Wart' Lester Thomas (Betty), Bessie Marie Carpenter (Jim) and Gloria Rose Blackmore (George). He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you make a donation in Rit's memory to DARC's program, The Active Digby Fund. These donations can be made at Town Hall and are used to get local kids involved in minor hockey.
