Olivia Eleanor Small Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olivia Eleanor Small (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Olivia Eleanor leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Howard and Emily Howard (Thurber); her uncle Carroll Thurber; and her aunt Eleanor Thurber. She is survived by: her husband John Small; and her brothers, Billy Howard (Joanne) of Freeport, Judson Howard of Freeport and Leonard Howard (Yvonne) of Central Grove.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory can be made to Islands Consolidated Free Store or to the Freeport Baptist Church Food Bank.
