With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Carroll Watkins (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Owen and Phyllis Leona Patterson (Shaw); her grandparents, James William, Janet Patterson (Warren), Albert and Mary Shaw (Leithy); her sister Marian; her former husband David E. R. Watkins; and her close friend Lester Thimot.
She is survived by: her children, Mary (Alan Height) of Freeport, David Watkins of Freeport, Joy Watkins and Sheryl Stanton (Victor); her grandchildren, Stephanie Sollows (Scott Webster), Natalie Stanton Falmouth (Andrew Kennedy), April Stanton (Mark Sabean), Joseph "Joey" Stanton, Tesha Stanton, Central Grove and Damien Stanton; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Hudson, Quinn Sollows, Matthew, Jorja, Quentin Bailey, Christean, Aidan Sabean and Peyton Kennedy; and her siblings, Bernice Llewellyn (Ronnie), Barbie Spicer (John) of Grand Manan, NB and Wilfred Patterson.
