It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Howard Burton Carpenter in Digby, Nova Scotia, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Carpenter and Martha Carpenter (Wolter); and his sister Beverly Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his daughter Paulette Cooper (David); his grandchildren, James L. Cooper, Alicia L. Aldridge, Christina L. Johnson and Caitlin Cooper; his great grandchildren, Abrielle Cooper, Zakai Cooper, Rockwell Cooper and Akeeva Cooper; and his nephew Scott Wagner.
