It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Joan Speichts of Digby, Nova Scotia, born in Saulnierville, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Anna Smith (Saulnier); her husband Fred Speichts; her son Kevin Speichts; and her siblings, Leonard Smith, Alice Gennett and Linda MacNeill.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Speichts, Karen Comeau (Joe Wilson) and Kimberly Steeves (Andrew); her daughter-in-law Barb Speichts; her grandchildren, Alan Comeau, Danielle Comeau, Connor Speichts, Jenna Speichts, Marcus Speichts, Kyle Marshall and Anthony Marshall; her stepgranddaughters, Hannah Wilson and Amelia Steeves; her great grandchild Lachlan Wallace; and her siblings, Fred Smith, Roy Smith of Calgary, AB, Jim Smith, Ron Smith of Georgetown, ON, Donna Smith and Shirley Melanson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
