She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Denton and Sadie Denton (O'Neil); her husband Gordon Hedberg; her former husband Maurice'Doug'Woolaver; her daughters, Julia Sayeau and Kimberley; and her siblings, Christine, Roy, Allison and Merrill.

She is survived by: her son-in-law Mike Sayeau of North Carolina; her stepchildren, Charles Hedberg of Washington State, Jim Hedberg of Washington State, Cindy Perkins of Washington State and Linnea Braham of Washington State; her sister Marilyn Robertson of Digby; her grandson Michael Sayeau; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Clara and Tessa.
