He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysse Doucet and Louise Doucet; and his sister Patricia Doucet. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Richard Doucet (Sally) of Port Lorne; his grandsons, Justin Doucet (Chantal) and Ryan Doucet; his great grandchild Leah Doucet; and his siblings, Larry Doucet, Alain Doucet, Priscilla Doucet and Annie Doucet. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
