She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Dennison and Muriel Dennison (Wade); her husband Richard "Rit" Harry Thomas; and her son Richard "Ricky" Thomas. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Ann Vantassel (Davey) of Gulliver's Cove, Darlene Grace Thomas (Scott) of Digby and Gregory Lance Thomas (Joanne) of Digby. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you make a donation in Doris' name to "the Lodge that Gives" through the Canadian Cancer Society. —————————.
