She is survived by: her children, Thane, Murray, Francis (Frankie), Weldon, Glenda, Barbara and Lena; her brother Edward Miller; and her grandchildren, Margo, Aaron, Brandon, Lauren, Daeshawn, Ariana, Shaniece, Bryant, Shawn, Kayla, Deon Miller, Jaylen, Marc, Aldean, Jasmine, Jenna, Chauncey, Aubree and Adonis.

She was valued by her colleagues and made many contributions to the school community.
