She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barkhouse and Emily Barkhouse (Millar); and her siblings, Nellie, Grace, Rose, Joyce, Velma, Robie, Walter, David, Charlie, Ervin, Lindsay and Paul.
She is survived by: her husband John MacAlpine; her daughter Melissa (Roger); and her siblings, Betty, Eric (Bea) and Andrew. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
