She was predeceased by: her sister Margaret Ann; and her stepparents, Earl Lent and Joan Bates. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence; her daughters, Patricia Quinn of Brampton, Ont, Ann Adams (Elijah) of Dartmouth, Daisy Landry (Craig), Cape Breton and Crystal Jefferson of Halifax; her brothers, Donald Bates (Linda Snider), Fort Francis and Gary Bates (Tracy) of Nictaux; and her grandchildren, Chad, Elizabeth, Liam, Lochlan and Tristin.
