He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley (Nordin). He is survived by: his children, Debbie Horner (Fred), Treena Porter (Lester) and David Specht (Lisa Sharpe); his foster children, Roxanne Hanshaw (Gary Gehue), Bruce Hanshaw, Tammy Walsh and Tommy Nordin; his grandchildren, Donna Wright, Justin Horner, Joshua Horner, Tamara Horner, Christa Specht, Heather Specht, Trisha Specht, Andrew Specht, Crystal McCormick, Justin Rodgerson, Corrissa Biggar and Alishia Ambrose; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Tristin, Aaliyiah, Leighton, Lyndi, Gabriel, Kalla, Kayse, Kayla and Wyatt; his great great grandchildren, Leroy and Oakley; and his siblings, Kentville and Harold Specht. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
