He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pyne and Viola Pyne (Theriault); and his siblings, Geraldine Ettinger, Eva Bower, Anne Winchester, Charles Pyne (Bev), Edgar Pyne and Jerry Raye Pyne.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Pyne (Hersey); and his daughters, Shelley Pyne of Digby and Krista Tidd (James) of Digby.
