Clara Annie Weir Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Annie Weir (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clara Annie Weir to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Trefry Post and Harvey Trefry; her husband Harley Weir Sr.; her son Harley Weir Jr. (Pamela); and her siblings, Edith Petzoldt (Kurt), Margaret Buckman (William) and Richard Trefry.

She is survived by: her son Perry Weir (Lori); her grandchildren, Gregory Weir (Lisa Tingley), April Gosson (Dean), Renee Stewart (Jason), Zachary and Logan Weir; her great grandchildren, Jeremy Gosson, Steven Weir and Breanne Saulnier (Micheal); her great great grandchildren, Eden and Gabriel Saulnier; and also, John, Velvet Weir, Judy and Phillip Hanshaw. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.

Clara lived through many challenges including a world war, numerous health issues, two bouts of cancer and a global pandemic to name a few.

We ask that donations in her memory may be made to either the Smith's Cove Baptist Church or the Victorian Order of Nurses.
