She is survived by: her daughters, Shelley Pyne, Krista Tidd (James) of Barton and Digby Co; her grandson Sonny Gillis (Hayley) of Dartmouth, NS; and her siblings, Roy Hersey of Digby, Robert Hersey (Christina) of Digby and Elaine Turner (Greg) of Smith's Cove. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
