He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney Denton and Muriel Denton (Harris); his grandson Tyson Harnish; and his brothers-in-law, George Lohnes and Darren Farstad.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Denton (Farstad); his children, Joey Denton (Gloria) of Little River, Annette Comeau (Keith) of Brighton, Stacey Denton (Cheryl) of Little River and Teena Bohaker (Trent) of Digby; his grandchildren, Justin Harnish (Kim), Alyssa Comeau (Mark), Wyatt and Garrett Bohaker; his great grandchildren, Addison, Sophia, Maverick, Ava, Xavier, Alexis and Charlee; his siblings, Brenda Lohnes, Austin Denton (Mickey), Shawn Denton (Diana), Debbie Denton and Jonathan Denton; his aunt Shirley Mayhew (Eric); and his sister-in-law Sandra Outhouse (Eric).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Society for the Friends of Ferals or the DRHS Mariners High School Hockey Team.
