He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Marie (Muise); and his siblings, Gustave Thibodeau, Margaret Leblanc, Edith Swink and Anna Thibodeau.

He is survived by: his wife Marion (Addington); his children, Charlie Thibodeau (Jennifer), Whale Cove, Mark Thibodeau and Michelle Thibodeau-Wagner (Clyde); and his grandchildren, Chris Thibodeau, Sandy Cove, Jamie Thibodeau, Heather Thibodeau, Adrienne Thibodeau, Alberta, Alicia Thibodeau-Silkie, Noah Wagner, Spencer Wagner and Grace Wagner. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
