He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Turnbull and Dorothy Turnbull; his siblings, Marian MacDonald and Jack Turnbull; his siblings-in-law, John O'Brien and Laura Tidd; and his nephew Craig Tidd.
He is survived by: his wife Faye (Gidney); his daughters, Brandi (Kyle MacDonald) and Tiffany; his grandsons, Finn, Beau MacDonald, Theo Turnbull and Paddy; his siblings, Patricia, Susan (Donny Amero) and Peter (Sandra Haight); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Gidney (Jenipher), Hugh MacDonald and Sonia Gidney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Digby Fire Department and Society of the Friend of Ferals, Digby.
