She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Thurber and Belle Thurber (Garron); her husband Lester; her children, Margaret Pearl, Crystal Belle and Arden Lester; and her siblings, Pearle, Edna, Gertrude, Louise, Vesta, Raymond, Earle, Lou, Clifton and Carson.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy of Digby, Margo (Shaun) of Little River, Francis (Linda) of Freeport and Robin (Shauna) of Digby; her grandchildren, Matthew, Mitchell, Michael, Jennifer, Brock, Fallon and Cody; and her great grandchildren, Lillie, Maddie, Lucas and Lochlan.
