Balmoral Young Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Balmoral Young of Digby, Nova Scotia, born in Deep Brook, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Adams Young and Aubrey VanBlarcomb Young; his wife Doreen (Stoddard); and his brothers, Neil and Dale.

He is survived by: his children, Glendon (Pam) of Mount Pleasant, Darlene of Smith's Cove and Jennifer Gidney (Marty); his grandchildren, Matthew Hazelton, Sarah Hazelton of Smith's Cove and Carly Gidney; his great grandchildren, Gage and Owen Hazelton of Smith's Cove; his nieces, Alana Baldwin, Robin Knight (Doug) and Kathy Anderson (Carman); his sister Audrey Baldwin; and also, Spurrs, Ditmars, Frank Nichols and Myrtle Jackson. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws.
