It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Althea Maude Saunders (Digby, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 22, 2018, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lindstol Saunders; her son Graham Saunders; her grandson Mark Saunders; and her siblings, Erma Kaminski, Hilda Morehouse, Melba Morehouse, Carol Hall, Nevins Wagner, Kenneth Wagner and Darrell Wagner.

She is survived by: her siblings, Vivian Cossaboom, Reta Thurber, Myrtle Theriault and Eileen Wagner; her daughter-in-law Jacqueline Levy (Richard); her grandchildren, Cheryl Longmire (Neville Elms), Scott Saunders (Fern McCuish), Stacie Saunders (Kelly Powell) and Su-Ellen Saunders; her great grandchildren, Graham Saunders, Mary-Ellen Southwick (Reid), Colby Longmire and Fallon Longmire; and her great great grandchildren, Farrah and Norah.

No flowers are requested, but donations in her memory can be made to the Baptist Church and VON.
