It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrtle Jean Selig of Deep Brook, Nova Scotia, born in Bear River, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl McCormick and Edna McCormick (Coombs); her husband Russell; and her siblings, Marie Darres (Carl), Lynn Gregory (Otis) and Lionel.
She is survived by: her children, Earl and Valerie Gillespie of Deep Brook; her sister Audrey McMahon of Belleville, ON; her grandchildren, Morgan Dickie of Calgary, AB, Matthew of Sherbrooke, PQ, Aaron of Stellarton, NS, Amber Gillespie of Halifax, NS and Jenny Gillespie of Nelson, BC; and her great grandchildren, Alyson and Ella. She is also survived by her family and friends.
Donations in Myrtle's memory may be made to the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home.
