She is survived by: her daughter Shelley; her son-in-law Hank Sweeney; her grandchildren, Tracey Lawrence (Joey) of Coldbrook and Troy Sweeney (Nancy) of Enfield; and her great grandchild Molly Lawrence.
In lieu of flowers, Barbara requested that donations be made to Dalhousie Medical School or a charity of your choice.
