She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnet Rushton and Dorothy Rushton (Goodwin); and her sister Lois. She is survived by: her common-law partner Tony Ballard; her daughter Sheila Burns (Robert); her brother Raymond Rushton (Carol); her niece Twila Rushton (Paul); and her nephew Craig Rushton.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Debert Baptist Church (1273 Plains Rd, Debert, NS B0M1G0).
